Tea bowls, or chawan- when used in Japanese Chanoyu tea ceremony, are meant to hold whisked green tea called matcha. After whisking the green tea powder with hot water, drink matcha directly from the bowl.

Kurinuki carved with black hakeme brush strokes and clear glaze. Made of white stoneware and fired to 2232°F/1220°C. Glaze is dishwasher safe but hand washing is recommended.

All pieces are handmade in Chicago IL by Dani Fogarty.
